Local Bred Queens (2023) for Sale

These Queens have been open mated and bred in Shropshire, England, from a line of established colonies, meaning they are ideally suited for the local climate and environment. The Queens have been selected and bred with temperament and productivity in mind*. The Queens will come marked (red) in a travel cage with a small number of escort workers (if travelling via post). The Queens will be excellent for making splits or re-queening colonies. 

Queens will be shipped in a travelling cage with attendants on a tracked and signed for next day service with Royal Mail.  Please ensure you will be available to receive the shipment all day on scheduled day.

* The characteristics of the Queen cannot be guaranteed because of the nature of open mating. However, this line of Queens has performed consistently well over several season with regards to temperament and productivity. 

Please note that Queen introduction is not guaranteed and that no refunds will be issued if this is unsuccessful.  If the Queen is found dead on arrival, please send an image of the queen in the travelling cage within 8 hours of the signed for delivery.
